features the art of the known synesthetes, David Hockney, Joan Mitchell,
Marcia Smilack, and Carol Steen and works by artists thought to be synesthetic,
including Charles Burchfield, Tom Thomson, Wassily Kandinsky, and Vincent Van Gogh.
